1. Hawai’i Meets Florida Atlantic In ESPN’s Tip-Off Marathon
For the ninth straight year, the Hawai‘i men’s basketball team will participate in ESPN’s College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon, bringing more than 24 hours of game action across ESPN and ESPN2. One of 13 games on the ledger, the Rainbow Warriors host Florida Atlantic on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 1:15 a.m. PT live on ESPN2. Full Story
2. CSUN Sets Program Record with Sixth-Straight Shutout in 2-0 Win Over Loyola-Chicago
Receiving two second half goals, CSUN Women’s Soccer defeated Loyola-Chicago 2-0 on Friday afternoon at Valley Fields in the opener of the Marquette Invitational. Senior Kourtney Kutscher netted her first goal of the season and sophomore Justine Silvers scored for the first time in her collegiate career in the 71st minute. In the victory, the Matadors earned their sixth-straight shutout, setting a new school record. In net, junior Jovani McCaskill posted her sixth individual shutout of the season and her 13th career clean sheet. Full Story
3. Big West Alum Find Success In Paralympics
Former CSUN women’s basketball player Katie Holloway captured a gold medal at the 2016 Paralympics, along with her USA sitting volleyball teammates. After two failed attempts in 2008 and 2012, USA finally knocked off defending champion China, 3-0, to earn the gold medal. Full Story
Another Matador finding success in Brazil was former track athlete Jamie Whitmore, who won gold in the cycling road race and silver in the 3000m cycling individual pursuit.

4. Big West Releases Fall Schedule On FOX Sports Prime Ticket
Two premier Big West Conference rivalries and the championship game of the women’s soccer tournament will be showcased this fall on FOX Sports Prime Ticket, the official regional telecast home of Big West Athletics. Full Story
5. Women’s Golf Finds Success Early
The 2016-17 Big West women’s golf season got off to a strong start as pair of teams found themselves battling for the title on the final round of play. The Cal Poly Mustangs
tied for the team title at the Hobble Creek Hall Classic and UC Irvine
finished second at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic.
