1. CSUN Crowned Big West Men’s Soccer Tournament Champion

Junior Jeremy Degraffenreidt’s goal with 52 seconds remaining in the second overtime lifted CSUN to a dramatic 2-1 victory over Cal State Fullerton in the championship game of the Big West Men’s Soccer Tournament Saturday at Matador Soccer Field.  The Matadors return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013.  Men's Soccer Championship Page

2. 2017 #BWT All-Session Tickets On Sale

Honda Center and the Big West Conference have announced that all-session tickets for the 2017 Big West Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament are on sale now through February 14, 2017.  All-session school reserved tickets will be available for $69.00. These seats will be located within a school’s section and can be purchased through each institution’s box office.  Full Story


3. Former LBSU Golfer Paul Goydos Wins Charles Schwab Cup Championship

Former Long Beach State men's golfer Paul Goydos captured the Charles Schwab Cup Championship on Sunday afternoon at the Desert Mountain Club Cochise Course.  Goydos held off Bernhard Langer of Germany by two strokes to finish the season-ending tournament at 15-under-par 195.  Full Story


4. Cal Poly Leads Big West Contingent At NCAA West Regional

Cal Poly was the highest finishing Big West club in both the men’s and women’s races at the NCAA Regional, hoping to make a case for at-large inclusion into the NCAA Championships.  The following day, Mustang Peyton Bilo learned that she was headed to the Hoosier State  for the NCAA Cross Country Championships after earning an at-large selection.  Complete Results


5.  SAAC Tour Continued

Big West Commissioner Dennis Farrell has been visiting the nine member campuses to meet with their SAAC representatives and learn  how they Lead Big!  Last week he visited UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly and Cal State Fullerton.
