1. Titans Topple UC Davis In Penalty Kicks To Win Big West Championship

Fullerton men’s soccer clinched its third Big West Tournament Championship in four years after defeating UC Davis 4-3 in penalty kicks Saturday afternoon at Aggi Soccer Field behind sensational goalkeeping play from Paul-Andre Guerin and Alfredo Cortez. Full Story

2. No. 22 Cal Poly Volleyball Sweeps UC Irvine, Wins Big West Title
In front of the home crowd on senior day at Mott Athletics Center Saturday, the Cal Poly volleyball team swept UC Irvine (25-11, 25-20, 25-16) to win the Big West Conference Championship and secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Full Story


3. Boyal Advances To NCAA Championships For Cal Poly Cross Country

Cal Poly’s Swarnjit Boyal was selected for the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, as the Mustang senior will compete at the national finals in Kentucky on Nov. 18. Full Story


4. Men’s Basketball Topples Cal On The Road, 74-66

The UC Riverside Men’s Basketball Team scored the first 10 points of the game Friday evening, and never trailed, as they toppled Pac-12 foe Cal on the road, 74-66.  Full Story


5. Blanks’ Buzzer-Beater Caps Furious Rally in 87-84 Win over Utah State

The UC Irvine women’s basketball team didn’t disappoint in its season opener Friday night at the Bren Events Center. The Anteaters erased a 13-point deficit in the final minutes, and junior Deijah Blanks capped the rally with a half-court shot that bounced up off the front of the rim and in at the buzzer for the 87-84 victory over Utah State.
