Smith Doubles Up for Titans to Earn Athlete of the Week Honors

➜ Daeja Smith put up a pair of double-doubles totaling 34 points and 23 rebounds in a pair of Titans wins, for averages of 17.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.
➜ Her double-doubles were the fifth and sixth of her season, tying her with Channon Fluker (CSUN) for most in the Big West this season. She has notched a double-double in each of her last three games.
➜ The 6-3 center also set new career highs in points (22) and blocks (5) against Utah Valley on December 23, putting her over 600 points for her career and moving her into second-place all-time in Cal State Fullerton career blocks.
➜ She shot 13-19 from the field (68.4%) over the week, including a 10-11 performance in the 73-36 win over Utah Valley.
➜ Smith has nine double-digit scoring performances this season, including the last eight games in a row.
➜ The Titans are on their first three-game win streak since the 2014-15 season.
