➜ Green averaged 28.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 1.5 assists as the Anteaters recorded a road win against Hawai‘i (74-67) and a home triumph over UC Santa Barbara (77-74).
➜ Green’s exploits helped UCI snap an eight-game skid against UH and give the program its first road victory in the series since 1995. The ‘Eaters also ended a five-game losing streak to the Gauchos.
➜ In just her second game of the season, Green dropped a career-high 31 points on the Rainbow Wahine. She made 9 of 15 floor shots, including five three-point field goals, and hit on 8 of 9 from the free throw line.
➜ The Michigan State transfer added five rebounds, two assists, a block and a team-best five steals against UH.
➜ It was the first 30-point performance by a UCI player since Camille Buckley in 2014.
➜ The 5-7 guard returned less than 24 hours after arriving back on the mainland to collect a game-high 25 points in the three-point win over the Gauchos. Green added six rebounds, an assist, a block and a steal as UCI garnered its 10th victory – the first time in four years the program earned double-digit wins.
➜ For the week, Green shot 50.0 percent (17 for 34) from the field, 41.2 percent (7 of 17) from three-point range and 83.3 percent (15 of 18) from the free throw line.
