Baseball Rivalry, Track & Field Championships On FOX Sports

FOX Sports will air the #BWCTF Championships and one of the biggest college baseball rivalries in the nation.

FOX Sports Spring Schedule Release

FOX Sports, the official regional telecast home of Big West athletics, will air two prominent conference spring sporting events in May.
Prime Ticket will carry the Big West Track and Field Championships for the sixth straight year.  The CSUN Track and Field Complex is this year’s host venue, with coverage on Saturday, May 12 beginning at 2:00 p.m.  The Cal State Fullerton men won the program’s first title a year ago, while the CSUN women captured their second championship in three years.  The host Matadors have a won a combined 15 men’s and women’s titles, the most in conference history.
One of the nation’s biggest baseball rivalries will take center stage on FOX Sports West as Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach State will battle on Saturday, May 26 at Blair Field.  First pitch will be 2:00 p.m.  It’s a rematch of the 2017 best-of-three NCAA Super Regional at Blair Field, which the Titans won to advance to their 18th College World Series.
Cal State Fullerton’s trip to Omaha marked the fourth consecutive year the Big West has had a CWS participant.  The Big West, ACC, Big 12 and SEC are the only four conferences which can claim that distinction.
The Titans were picked to finish first in the Big West preseason coaches poll, while the Dirtbags were tabbed second.
CSF has picked up momentum, posting a 15-5 record since the beginning of April.  With a 12-3 Big West record, the Titans own a comfortable four-game lead on their closest pursuers in the standings.
LBSU is coming off its first series sweep of the season last weekend against UC Riverside.  The Dirtbags are just one game out of second place in the Big West race.
In addition to telecast coverage on Prime Ticket, all games on the regional sports network will also be available on FOX Sports GO.  The FOX Sports GO app is currently available for iOS, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Fire tablets and Fire phones, Roku players and Roku TV, select Windows devices, and online at FOXSportsGO.com.  Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store.
